A moment of Peace
I do not know how long Neve, Miruko and I were in the library. I have been so scared and worried about those out there fighting that I have not paid attention to the time. I have not slept, opting to let Neve and Miruko sleep while I kept watch. If need be I would wake Neve up so that she can shoot any demons or evil trespassors that dare enter our sanctuary. Thank goodness it did not come to that. I did not see hide nor hare of a wolf or demon. I am relieved that so far we have not had to deal with them.
After what seemed like an eternity Seto comes into the library to get Miruko. I immediately asked him how everyone was. He told me that almost everyone has returned but they are missing one person. He said that Amelda was badly hurt but was recovering. I began to worry and hoped that Max had made it back. Seto did not say much, only that he came for Miruko and was going to take him to Mokuba. He was glad that Miruko was safe and told Neve where Goth was so that she could go to him. I decided to go and check on Amelda. I know he wants to speak to me about my taking Miruko without checking with him and I do want to make sure he is ok. I also want to patch things up. I want to let him know that I am sorry but I really was thinking of Miruko's safety. I can understand him being upset though. If I was in the same situation I would have been too. I walk to the room Amelda is in and knock on the door. I do hope that he receives me well.
