where has the summer gone?
haha. i mean, really? anyway, heres what has been keeping me so busy that i can barely keep up:
after the florida trip, the king and i started. mom and i were small roles in our local theaters production. the play was amazing, and it was tons of fun to be in the first play in the renovated building. made some cool friends, got closer to some already cool friends, and picked up a stalker or two (which our group had to "protect" me from). haha. it was pretty fun :) the stalker wasnt really a stalker, just didnt have too many social skills and paid me a good deal of attention. so my friends would come save me sometimes if they saw that he had me cornered. anyway, that sucked about 3 weeks out of my summer. sold out every show and i think we had to add another one. i personally think we could have sold out a whole other weekend. but they decided to stop at 8 shows.
anyway, then we got about a week of off time. during that week we had friends over for the 4th of july :) a bunch of the theater people came and then there was kirby :) who is almost a 4th of july staple at my house :) we've definitely kept that tradition up :) anyway, then mom, ryan, and i left for phoenix the 7th. we piddled around the first few days. went to movies, bookstores, and plenty of restaurants. on sunday we went to 15 open houses. haha, and if youve ever been to any open houses, you know that 15 is A LOT! ryan was such a good sport and didnt even complain, he just kept on driving us to more. it was a lot of fun. we saw a lot of houses above what we're looking for and some below. hehehe. anyway, monday we went out with our realtor lady. we saw about 10 houses that day. found one that we could have made work. took a break on tuesday. piddled some more. went and saw another movie. then on wednesday, mom and i went out with our realtor again. she was a blast :) anyway, we found a very funky house that might just work for us. it currently has pink carpet in at least 90% of the house and it has WALLS of mirrors with mirror light plates and outlet covers and seams and everything. its really weird. but we would obviously not keep it like that. it was so hard to find a house with more than 2 bathrooms. anyway, this one is looking pretty good, so maybe we'll buy it. oh, and it has a pool :) much fun for anyone who wants to come visit :)
ok, so we came back on thursday. rachel came up to jet ski and hang out yesterday. she spent the night, and we ended up watch the phantom of the opera :) good movie :) haha. we woke up today and went out on the lake again. it was choppy and not as much fun cuz its harder to play around when its so choppy. but now we're about to go out to lunch with some friends and then im going to her house in tennessee. hopefully ill see everyone whos up there :) cuz that will really be the only time i can. anyway, i need to go, but i just wanted to fill everyone in on the summer activities of sam. :) haha.
anwyay, kirbs: love ya! have a blast in cali :) i cant wait to see you in august :) we will make it work and im sure that we'll spend a good chunk of time together that week :) lysybb :D
