Tonight me and my friend, Shell, went to the movies. I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book and the ending devastated me. For some reason, they drastically changed the ending of the book - which is just strange because the books was such a huge word-of-mouth hit BECAUSE of the ending.

Okay - you might want to screen this after I post it because it's a huge spoiler.

The sister who wasn't sick is in a car accident and declared brain dead and the family decides to go through with the transplant, saving the life of the sick sister.

Holy shit! Okay, yeah wow, my jaw dropped. That would have been one hell of a shocker ending to watch too. Crap, I'm getting teary eyed again, lol

My sister actually started reading the book today, and she says it's really sad so far, and she's only a few chapters in!

I have the book in my bedside drawer. I haven't started it yet and I'm afraid too now, lol.

I want to see the movie so badly though. I knew I'd cry but jeeze. I think I'll wait to get it on DVD so I can cry in private, lol.
