quick update
Well, in case anyone was wondering, I did make it to graduation. I did everything possible to screw myself over in the process (including writing the day of a final wrong on my calendar so that I missed the final and had to beg mercy from the teacher). Anyway, long story short, I did make it. I picked up my diploma yesterday.
I thought it would be weird to blog twice on myspace in one night, so I came here. Jessica: OMG! I would have known so much more about what was going on if I had just logged on here. I'm sorry, hun.
Today was my first official day of being a non-smoker. I wanted to crawl out of my skin, but Charlie did a pretty good job of keeping me occupied and keeping my mind off things. Speaking of Charlie being great, it just seems like he keeps getting better and things keep getting better between us. Not to mention the normal every day great relationship we have and how close we continue to get, I have never in my entire life had anyone jump to my defense and say, "It's all right. I'll fix it" as quickly as he did tonight. And then guess what he did! He actually did fix it! It really just makes me want to break down and cry because I'm so grateful that he's taking on the things that I can't take on by myself.
I've really seen him grow up recently (and I'm sure that I have too), and it's just really great to know that I can trust him with the important stuff. It used to really scare me to think that we're gonna be a married couple very soon, but the closer it gets (four months now!!!) the more I know that we're gonna be fine.
