you, me and the willow tree
a willow tree fell on my car yesterday. it was a beautiful, tragic wind storm and thunder and lightning storm that did it. there was a tornado warning for massachusetts. a funnel cloud was seen in pittsburgh. the tree cracked from the wind (poor root systems) and landed on my car and the truck beside it.
its half horribly devestating, half hilarious.
its interesting because im kind've bummed, but not too badly. i kept thinking on my bike ride home to investigate after hearing about it if it was kharmic retribution for something shitty i did, complete coincidence, or maybe it saved my life--i was probably going to drive to a show instead of biking because it was raining soo hard but then i didn't, obviously. maybe i was going to get in a car accident on the way to the show and die. but god saved me. who knows.
it is also kind've interesting to be so impacted by something..kinda shows you are alive, you have a life, it impacts things, it gets impacted.
things happen to you when you are a living person.
