boredom
no more classes. i think i'd like to leave des moines behind, then return someday, feel like, "home, sweet home," or something. i'd like to go to Portland, or somewhere in Canada maybe. study abroad? i don't think i want to follow anyone, but somebody following me couldn't hurt. this doesn't seem to be making much sense, but not a whole lot does anyway.
so this girl Xochi(So-chee), a 23 year-old chick who's working on the Hillary campaign and living at my house keeps telling me how much she loves when i play guitar at night because it helps to put her to sleep. It was pretty sweet having a total stranger tell me they really like my music, she was going on and on about it when we were playing apples to apples in my living room with my drunk sisters. And the best part about it is probably that Xochi is smokin' hot, or perhaps that i like to play guitar at 3 or 4 AM and she likes it too...:)
