The stars are brightly shining...

Uhhh...I really am doing well, just not at this very momment. Abbey and I just finished rearranging our room. We ended up moving every piece of furniture, but at the end of all things, we ended up changing very few things. Plus some of our suitemates weren't very helpful. And I fell off of my bed and hit my head on the floor. I still chalk the evening up as a good one, though, because it was weirdly fun, and we laughed a lot. Pictures will be appearing soon.

In less than a week I'll be home. But this is home, too. I can't believe that I'm a college student, living here, so comfortable, so in love with God, so connected to a place that isn't with my family.

Last night at the college group I attend, we sang Christmas Carols. Worship songs, really, and we treated them as such. It was amazing; O Holy Night has always been one of my favorite Christmas songs, but now it's call to "fall on your knees" is a call to worship with my life, and not simply during Advent. We ended the night singing "Wish You a Mery Christmas" with our arms around the people next to us; for me that was two of my best friends on campus.

So going home will be a time of reconnections. Fitting new ones in with old ones. I don't think it'll be the same, but I think it will be good.
