Job
I have an interview today at 4.30 for some coffee place. It'd be finance stuff and it only pays $35k pa, but hey, it beats wellfare. Apparently they swear there and tend to vent anger on staff. Er...right. I also won't have time to change for the interview. Greeeeeat.
The Police
Have I mentioned this before? I won a washing machine several months ago, finally put it into the newspaper a few weeks ago and sold it for a cash cheque of $700. The cheque wouldn't be honoured, wrong signature, and the guy avoided me like the plague, and gave me the run around via text messages.
Well, I called the cops yesterday; they came to my office and I gave a statement. They only had me photocopy the cheque, I did offer it to them, but they went on their merry way. Then they call to say they need the cheque. It was picked up today.
Guess what interesting news they told me? The guy is known to police and the chequebook he used is stolen. Fucking hell.
