Welcome, baby Alexis!
Well, I guess I'm officially old as fuck XD. I am now a great-aunt. My eldest nephew and his wife had their baby girl, Alexis, late on Monday. Baby and mom are both doing well (though I hear a rumor that dad threw up during the delivery...*ahem*). She was 6 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 " long.
My nephew (Zach) and I are actually only six years apart, and his mother (my half-sister) left the picture when he was a toddler, so he was kinda like a kid brother to me, or at least the closest thing I had to one. I can still remember dragging him down the hallway by his hair, and him beating me at nintendo, lol. Now, he's in the army, stationed in Afghanistan, and a dad. It's completely surreal, and to be honest, I'm a little freaked out, but immensely happy for them.
