How time has flown. I hadn't realized until just now that it has almost been one week since I last posted.  I have been working tons lately and boy am I beat.  I feel as if I could sleep for days.  I love the paychecks, but at the same time I am dying for a few days off.  July 19th is not coming quick enough.  A big group of us are renting cabins on Houghton Lake.  For those 4 days I promised my self that I will do nothing but sit by the water and relax.  I may even be able to get a little sun if the weather cooperates.  It seems that the older I get I just don't seem  to tan like I used to when I was a kid.  I also don't spend nearly as much time outdoors.  I feel like my super duper white legs look kinda silly in shorts.

This Friday my aunt Cyndee is having a get together at her house.  I am excited.  She will be moving to Arizona I think it is next week.  Her husband just recently got his teaching certificate and was unable to find a job here in Michigan so went looking in other states.  I am thrilled that I will be able to see my grandma.  Gosh she is so wonderful and I miss her so much.  My mom thinks that her health is failing but won't admit it to anyone.  She has never been one to want any attention directed to her.  She is so loving and kind that she puts her entire family before herself.  I can only imagine though how she must be feeling.  My aunt has a rare type of cancer and my uncle had a brain anorism and has never really fully recooperated.  I am assuming the last thing she wants to do is worry her ill children.  I know she must be freaking out at the fact that it is possible that her children my leave this world before she does.  It is great that we will all be able to get together for the day.

I want to lay my sleepy head down so badly.  My knees are so achey, I think from the rainy dreary weather we have been having lately.  One good thing for the all the rain is hopefully it will be wonderful for my tomato plants.  I rescued them and planted them in my back yard.  I have never been one with a green thumb so hopefully they will work out alright.
