OK, so I've mentioned that there's practically no work to do around here
just now?
Well, apparently two of the guys from the Customer Service team are leaving
at the end of next week, and need replacing. And instead of training up two
new guys, they want to bring in one, experienced person.
Me
I've been on the Renewals Team for about eighteen months now, and any time
I've done CS work, it's done my head in...
But what choice do I have? There's no work for me up here, and everyone else
spends the morning on the phones while I try and find something - anything -
to do.
So, week monday, I'm moving downstairs.
They're trying to paint it like it'll be some big opportunity for me; more
variety of work etc. blah.
*sighs*
