(no subject)
Hello all... Well this was my first day back after a week of break... I had an awesome break. I thought that it would be a really boring but I had so much to do and I was so busy the whole week that I ended up canceling plans on saturday night so I could get enough sleep. On friday my friends came over and I made dinner (Meatballs and mashed potatoes... a very swedish meal) But I also added cranberry sauce... they didn;t really like it. haha. Then we watched Napoleon Dynamite... They surprisingly liked it!
Anyway then on saturday i left for a town about 2 hours south of Arboga. We went because my host brothers girlfriend was having a birthday party. But her mom is hosting a girl from canada... She was kind of cold and seemed like she didn't really want to be friends with me but maybe she was just in a bad mood or something. Anyway then Sunday night my friend Sofia came over to watch Lord of the Rings... Basically I love my Swedish friends. We were all talking on friday night and decided it would be really funny if we all dressed up as a fellowship and then go to Stockholm and act out random scenes in the middle of the street... What a sammi thing huh? It made me really happy cause thats totally something I would want to do. Its great.
Anyway then on Monday some more friends came over and we carved pumpkins and then put on costumes and went trick or treating. But they don't go trick or treating here so it was basically us going to my rotary councilors house and them taking pictures of us and then they called ahead to the house next door and ran the candy bowl over there. We went to about three houses like that and cleaned out the candy bowl. It was pretty lame but also very funny. I have pics of this all but I can't post them until I find my camera.
Wednesday Laura from Estonia and Grace from Canada came out to Arboga. Then in the night my friends came over again in costume and we had a halloween party. It was fun... I love all the exchange students and my swedish friends so it was fun to hang out with both.
Thursday Grace and I had a fun rainy day in Arboga. Laura left at like 11 but Grace stayed another night. We walked around and made a lot of yummy food and watched some good movies and just had fun.
Friday Grace and I made american style pancakes for my Rotary Councilor and his family. Then Grace left at 2 and I got ready to go to Eskistuna for the night. Laura from Estonia and I went and stayed that night at Bryan from France's house. We went because there was this thing called Skumfest. Which is basically like the Frosh dance only more people, European music and tons and tons of foam. This foam just pours out while you dance and by the end of the night you are covered in foam it was so so so so so much fun. Then we finally got home at like 2:30 and we had to set up the bed and take showers. But because bryan lives in a really small apartment his mom sleeps in the living room. So Laura and I had to share a twin size mattress and it was pretty cramped. It was fun though. Plus bryan is really hot. haha. Then I basically slept the rest of break. But now I have written to much and I have to go. I will post pics once I get them. I love you all!
