For those of you who don't know, I got into Simmons College in Boston for their Master of Social Work program. I'll be moving to Boston in August, yippie!
And now that I got that out of the way, anyone have any hints about finding a decently priced place to live? I've been looking online and finding that some tiny studio apartments can go as high as $2,000 a month. Yikes. There are a few renting brokers that I have seen through my online searches. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, is hiring a broker when you're out of town and only able to visit for a few days before signing a lessee worth it? Or should I keep my $200 and do the searching on my own?
Thanks for any help.
