it is simply HILARIOUS, that's if you understand hokkien. all the political jokes, stuff about the olympics and the 'ah-beng' way sebestian tan speaks; you seriously wouldn't want to miss it. there was this one part where sebestian tan asked whose surname's tan and my mom happily raised her hand. sitting on the second row didnt help to let her go unnoticed so sebestian was like "lu tan simi?" ( you tan what?) and my mom was so embarassed, she refused to answer but just laughed and laughed while he kept trying to get a name out of her. he gave up and went "when you remember your name, let me know". poor mommy! oh, sebestian can really sing. i was pretty surprised when he sang yesterday. the voice control uh. IMPRESSIVE. by the way, one lucky front row fella will get free tiger beer and maybe get called up to YOODLE with him. it ends on the 17th may, so GO WATCH!
i am depressed though, the lady from wildrice havent got back to me. i took my time to get the tickets for the hypochondriac and now its all sold out! all !%$#@!$# shows. i thought since there will be so so so many shows i should just wait and see which day i'll be appointment-less. ): its too late now. if any of you have got tickets to this show, SELL IT TO ME PLEASE!
another show i am going to catch is between the devil and the deep blue sea and the kransky sisters. it sounds uber exciting. i seriously cant wait to watch. i am so so so in the mood for plays and cabarets. its going to be fun! and if you're free one the 31st may, go watch the free screening of come drink with me at the national museum. the movie is definitely worth watching 'cause this show inspired quentin tarantino to write kill bill and he's going to do the remake of this show as well. WHOOO HOOO!
