The transit strike in NYC reaches into Colorado.....
Child 3 lives in Brookly and works 2 jobs in Manhattan. Naturally he's an avid subway rider. Today he had to walk 15 miles to get to work over the Brooklyn Bridge. then he walks from one job to the other job...which doens't get out until something like 11 pm. He wont' get home much before 3 am. Then turn around and walk back 15 miles in the morning to do it all again? this is insane. And he's been very very sick with some sort of bug...so he's walking in the cold 15 miles over the bridge which at night is a scary place to be frankly. Lots of people just "hang out" on the bridge looking to cause trouble at night. And it's supposed to rain tonight. Just perfect. I just want to clonk heads together right now!! so yes I'm fretting, I"m worrying, I have a call out to him that I'd be happy to pay cab fare for him...but of course he's at work...I'm all the way out here....
