Oh, God, this scene broke my heart so much. I never thought I'd see him again either and for him to come back and them have a scene like THIS? KILLED me. I was so proud of him for going away and coming back having made something of his life though. &hearts :D

I like to imagine that they got their happily ever post-show. Like they ran into each other while she was on Obama's campaign trail or at Luke & Lorelai's wedding. Then they reconnected, realized they were still in LOOOVE and are happy. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it. ;D

AUUGGH. This scene ALWAYS makes me cry. But you know what I love (and also makes me sure they always intended for Rory to end up with Jess)? That his lines to her are always so... endgame.

Jess: But you know we're supposed to be together, I knew it the first time I saw you two years ago and you know it too, I know you do!
