i just don't understand
today we went to mr. ferraro's room for our normal thursday meeting...and he was doin ap bio stuff so we cancelled the meeting... not that big of an upset but it also means taht it doesn't leave us any time to plan another dodgeball tournament... and that means that there is only a slight chance we will have another event before we graduate...
i just don't understand why after this year the club we worked so hard on will be dissolved... what is the matter with people that they don't want to help or even try to help... i was searching for a speaker to come and talk to our school and i found these two boys who go all over the world and started this organization called free the children and they are amazing. you should watch the movie...
they just make me want ot get on a plane and go to kenya or china and help them... just to make a child laugh or help build a school. this sounds selfish but i can't take the time off from college to go and after that i want to start my career and a family and i will never have time to go. or money... but i want to help people so bad and i don't understand why there isn't anyone in our school that is willing to go for less than an hour a week and help plan fun events that better our community and themselves... and the added bonus of being able to put it on your college transcripts and such is excellent...
