Oh Canada

I have just ordered the second batch of tickets. Officially, the following people are set for transportation:

Sam
Marj
Johanna
Joey
Jessie
Mike
Chris
Sean
Kyle
Sheila

If you're not on here you have until Friday. I hate being heartless but I seriously cannot accept checks after that point. I want everybody to come but if we can't book your tickets we've got some kind of dilemma, huh? So please take my hint.

Johanna asked me about the Newton bus depot we're leaving from. I promise that it's extremely convenient (it's right off the highway).

335 Grove Street
Newton, MA 02462
Main: 617-969-8660
Baggage: 617-965-3467
Greyhound Package Express: 617-965-3467
Greyhound Charter: 800-454-2487

For those of you who don't believe me, I mapquested it... Click here

Again, there are going to be a few layovers (officially only one on the way there and one back, but there seems to be an extra stop on the way back where we don't switch buses...). In terms of the proximity of the bus depot in Montréal to our hotel, I'm crossing my fingers that it's walkable. I mapquested this guy, too, and it looks promising... Click here

(P.S. Please note that these are the reverse directions. Our hotel is on Rue Saint-Denis. However, given that Mapquest is for driving, it took into account the one-way streets.)

The notarized letter business is being looked into. From what my dad tells me, it will essentially say something like

"I, [insert one parent's name here], permit my [son/daughter] [insert minor's name here], age [x years and x months], to go to Montrél, Quebec, Canada from April 17, 2006 until April 21, 2006. I can be reached at [insert home phone number] and live at [insert address]" (for each parent).

Once you do that Marji's mom will notarize it (slap it with a stamp, more or less), making it all official. Please don't write the letter yet in that format because we're not 100% sure if that's correct or not. I'll let you know when I'm solid on it.

Again, keep checking to see if I add more information. Once all this nitty gritty shizz is out of the way I'll write fun entries about the places I'm going to drag you to, et cetera. Get excited!

My last request (for now) is that you leave me a comment or let me know you've read this...
