I miss the basement life
when everyone was together. We all knew what was going on and where everyone was at. Now we've all drifted apart and no one cares. Right now in my house there are two people. One was part of the original krew and the other, well he didn't come around to the end and now is trying to cling to the strings which was the basement life.
The kids we consider part of the basement krew originated from the old Borders crowd. There it was about the same as the house. We all hung out when all knew each other even if we didn't know one another by name. All of those days are gone and the only thing left is pictures. Someone asked today what happened. What happened was life. We all grew up and no one stayed close. People whom were once friends now hate one another. Others are strung out on drugs and have no clue of what they lost. Life truly sucks and it ruined what we had in high school and what we will have in the future.
