Sam's the Boy King, and his brother his is most trusted adviser. They learn that some demons have captured and are torturing a Hunter for information. All's well until they learn the name of the Hunter- Bobby Singer.

When Dean interrupts the ritual council with his top generals, Sam knows something is up. He doesn't need to see his brother's clenched fists, or his flashing eyes, or the way his jaw juts out in a physical manifestation of fury.

"Everyone out," says Sam. No one moves at first, and he lets his eyes slide around the table. The demons look human enough at the moment, sitting comfortably in their borrowed bodies-glancing back and forth amongst themselves now, which Sam supposes is a natural enough response. He's never called stop in the middle of a session before.

"Did that sound like a polite request to you?" Sam asks coldly, letting ice and power add weight to his words. "Let me clarify. Get. Out. NowThe demons don't hesitate a second time ( ... )
