Possible spoilers regarding Kurt's boyfriend

The tracklisting (and characters singing on each track) of the christmas album has been released, and one track is a duet between Kurt and another guy, and people are speculating that this has revealed the identity of Kurt's boyfriend.

They sing together (and I'm glad they let two guys sing a romantic song), but it doesn't mean a thing to my mind. Dec 7th is too soon for Sam to come out of the closet.

All it means is that the Quinn/Sam shippers are going to be pointing saying "see, it's not Sam"

I hope this happens. I'll be okay with Kurt/Blaine happening as long as Sam and Kurt continue to have a storyline together.

I'm with you. The more lovin'Kurt gets the better, but I'd love to still see Sam/Kurt together by the end of the season. I want Kurt to have that "first boyfriend" & "first love" and for him to learn about who he is, etc... but then I want him to be able to turn around and do that for Sam(while still totally being a bottom, just a dominant, in control one, lol). This is my DREAM CANON (with a side of awesome!Puck somewhere/somehow!) Just sayin'.

I agree with all of the above (including other comments). I'm actually wondering if seeing Blaine and Kurt sing a romantic song together and having it be 'okay' will be the start of Sam starting to deal with it all, at least at some level.

Yeah, this would be ideal. I know most people here are concerned with Kurt being happy, but I feel like since Kurt is a regular and Ryan Murphy is planning this big arc for him and Blaine, it's already a given that Kurt is going to have all of the happy "first boyfriend" things. I'm not worried about him, whereas for Sam, I'm not so sure. He's not a regular, so his future is up in the air. So I'm more concerned about Sam not getting his own happy ending. I will RAGE if he doesn't.

I have a feeling that Chord(Sam) will be promoted to a series regular before the season is even over, and I might be wrong, but I thought Ryan talked about Kurt's bf Sam & the power couple thing BEFORE they were renewed for season 3? By bringing in Chord(Sam) this early and working in his slow "coming out" storyline along with Kurt's own progression of his sexuality and dealing with tolerance, etc... Ryan has made room for season 3 to feature Kurt & Sam as an established gay couple in high school, which to me would mean a lot more. A lasting gay relationship portrayed as NORMAL on TV every week would be EPIC.

This is just what I'm hoping for. I'll be completely in awe of Ryan if this is his plan and it all works out that way.

If he does this AND keeps Brittana in there, he'll be my hero. :) IDK, if he'd never even started Brittana I wouldn't care but now that he has started it, I'd like him to give it some weight and consideration.
