We all know that he also accidentally leaked that Kurt was involved in a love triangle. Obviously, as his current interest is Blaine, it’s Kurt-Blaine-?. The question remains, but the most likely candidate is Flint Wilson, the character being played by Luke Edgemon, because he’s been stated to be a rival to Kurt. It’s also been confirmed for a while that Blaine WILL be confessing his love for someone after the Gap performance in the Valentines Day Episode (Source 1: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Kecks-Exclusives-Glee-1027145.aspx , Source 2: http://www.ontopmag.com/article.aspx?id=7186&MediaType=1&Category=16 ) But since now Chris has confirmed that Blaine does NOT reciprocate the feeling, it’s obvious Blaine will be singing to someone else.
Chris also said that in the Valentines Day Ep., The scene at the gap is said to be a favor for Blaine and will involve both love and drama (Source 1: http://community.livejournal.com/gleeclub/2327332.html )
And here’s my absolute favorite, favorite part- Rachel and Kurt and Mercedes are getting closer and developing a friendship (Source: http://community.livejournal.com/gleeclub/2327332.html ), to the point where the three have a slumber party at Kurt’s house (Source 1: http://community.livejournal.com/gleeclub/2327332.html , Source 2: http://entertainment.latimes.com/awards/2010/12/sag-nominations-chris-colfer-on-glee.html ) and DURING the slumber Party, Mercedes will give Kurt and Rachel a speech about Embracing Being Single. IT’S HAPPENING GUYS. If the spoilers lead through, Kurt’s gonna see his love be interested in someone else- and if Mercedes’ speech comes through, He’ll stop looking for love- which is EXACTLY what Ryan told us had to happen before love could find him.
Now what are the options? Let’s play Devil’s advocate. It’s true that Blaine doesn’t reciprocate Kurt’s feeling NOW, but could in the future- but we’re already being presented with someone for Blaine (Which, to me, is excellent, as most people pointed out that if Klaine DIDN’T happen, Blaine’s role would be rather useless- giving him a romantic option gives us the chance to see him as his own character instead of Kurt’s Super Proud Gay Mentor Genie of Wisdom), and if Blaine’s feelings reach that extent, it’s doubtful that he’d suddenly snap out of it and go OMG KURT NVM I LUV U BB.
As for Karofsky- Chris Colfer also said a while back that Kurtofsky won’t happen (Source pending).
So what are we left with?
Luke? ANOTHER new character with no back history whatsoever except being in the warblers and an apparent rival to Kurt?
Or Sam, who, although not in a romantic sense (Yet) DOES have ties to Kurt, what with the Duet that never was, and the offer for protection against Karofsky- the dude who doesn’t have a problem with Gay dudes? (Not to mention all of the homoerotic hints we’ve been getting since literally the first episode, no, screw that, last summer).
