year in review
Its been just over a year since my last post so i figured i should update with what has been going on in life even if only few people remain on here.
Well last year in january I started my repeat term of 2A sincei had failed it the previous time around. Much had occurred at the time, i had gotten my disability testing so I finally know what has been limiting me my entire life. My brain doesn't encode things properly and has trouble with processing so i've had to change how I study and take tests. Originally i was only allowed 30 extra min per hour for testing but for my 2B term it was changed to 30 extra min per hour and use of a program to read the tests to me. It has helped alot with test taking. My marks are stable finally and the fear of failing is a bit less than it used to be.
Anyways this year has been good in learning about myself and the challenges i will face in the coming terms. I'm still in school until 2013 so still have a long way to go before graduation. Last term I finally took a position as the activities officer for ctrl-a. Its much fun to plan the events and execute them, hopefully i'll get to do it again. Though there has been suggestions to take an exec position since the current president Mo is graduating after the next term.
In February i will have been dating Asher for 1 year. Although it doesn't feel like it due to work terms forcing us to be apart for 4 months at a time. Our fields are hiring in different locations so we must travel for our work. He is going to the states for the work term.
anyways not much for the year really, rock collection got alot bigger, classes going well and I'm currently sitting on the via train to ottawa. These trains have wifi installed on them fully, its great.
