STL with friends was wonderful. We stayed in a hotel where our room had a magnificent view of the Arch. We had a great meal and then spent the night hopping from one night club to another. We ended up at the dueling pianos club on the Landing which was all kinds of fun. Rythmic movement is human.
I switched to club soda halfway through the night and one of the bartenders at the DP club took a shine to me. I guess "designated drivers" are popular. There wasn't any driving to be done, on my part, I just didn't feel the need to keep drinking all night long. I don't think my friends even noticed. Huh. So I guess I am still affected by peer pressure. Interesting insight.
M & I went for a walk in Arch Park on Sunday morning. M surprised me by being awake early and mobile. We went to Union Station later on Sunday, and I read all about the history of STL while M&M shopped. Fascinating. We stopped for lunch with the parental units before heading back to PIA. We didn't watch any football, but M listened to the games on the radio in the car. This was an exercise in visualization as the guys called the game. Audio only.
I'm exhausted. My mind is quiet.
