I'm not asleep, I'm dead. Leave flowers and get out.

Howdy folks. I'm back on my side of the Irish sea and I feel like crap. Ireland was so fun but I spent most of it feeling under the weather, which sucks (though not as much as Mary's mum who had a major stomach bug :( ). This morning I felt so bad that I had no idea how I was going to get on the plane and travel home, but I managed it, and I'm kinda proud of me for doing plane, train, tubes, walks and OMG heavy-suitcase-up-steps without freaking and collapsing in a puddle of tears. I suck at being ill, I'm such a wimp.

But despite all the sickness Ireland rawked creme eggs. I present you with the following highlights:

- Cake in a bag. When Mary gives me her pictures (I'm a photo-fanatic and I took ONE the entire time I was there - WTF?) I shall explain more about cake in a bag.

- Galway which looks, like, really Irish. It also has the most beautiful Cathedral ever. I had to stop and gawp at the confessional box when I realised I'd never seen one before in RL - I was brought up CofE and I hadn't actually thought about the fact I've never been in a Catholic Church. Was a bizarre moment.

- Buying beyond brilliant key-rings - namely one that is a small torch in the shape of an alien head whose eyes light up blue, and another which is a Scully family crest.

- VERY public sing-a-longs, including 'David Duchovny, why won't you love me?' and 'The Scully Song' (which I don't think is actually called the Scully Song, but has been dubbed as such) being sang at bus stops (I count 3 different stops in total) on buses and coaches, walking down streets... yeah, that can so definatly come off Mary's mission 101 list.

- Watching Fight the Future with someone else, which I've never done before, and squeeing beyond belief together at the hallway scene.

- My beautiful homemade Amor Fati earrings which I wub so much. They are prettyness itself.

- Seeing Grainne again in Limerick and going shopping in funky shops; I am now the proud owner of the best bag EVAH, am I not Mary?

- Spending God knows how long in Mary's hall room with 3 other fangirls and squeeing over completely different fandoms and not caring because we all knew how much fandom rocks, no matter what it is in.

- Planning our wonderful flat in Notting Hill

- Stargazing and Mary showing me so many beautiful things that have been hidden from me, being the city-girl that I am. I saw Mercury! SQUEE!

I want to go back NOW. :( I miss it already. Damn months and your longness.

How are you all doing, f-list? Did I miss anything important? Forgive me for not going back and reading everything but it would take forever and I just don't have the energy right now. Hope you are all OK. *Snuggles f-list*
