Oh I am bad. Bad bad bad.
I have the flat to myself today and meant to spend the time working on assignments, as uni work is impossible to do whilst Joey is here. He's in the most impossibly cute stage where all he wants to do is play and cuddle and laugh with me, and how am I supposed to resist under such temptation? I have done no work. I have spent the day catching up on my Sky+ episodes of M*A*S*H. I think I may be in love with Mike Farrell. I googled him because I'm becoming oh-so-slightly obsessed with BJ's smile and it turns out he's a major Human Rights activist and does a huge amount of campaigning against the Death Penalty. *Melts* A 37 year age gap is nothing really, right?
If you haven't figured, I am back in London, back in uni, back at work and back to reality. Boo to that. However, for the moment I appear to have both a working laptop and a working internet connection. Something is wrong with the system here, I was beginning to believe this was not possible.
First shift back at work was amusing last night. Got there 15 minutes late (bad Sam. BAD SAM.) at which point most of the setting up had been done and all I had to do was pour a couple of glasses of water for arriving guests. The guests went into the lecture, at which point we realised only half of the people we were expecting had arrived. Set out wine glasses, and waited. And waited. The lecture ran way over. So instead of serving 60 people for an hour, we served 20 people for 20 minutes. Then cleaned. All in all I got paid for 4 hours work in which I probably did half an hour. This was boring as hell but funny. To me, anyway, probably not for my boss.
I had so much post waiting for me when I got back! Thanks to the following:
