I'm moving to New York cos I have problems with my sleep
Hello, livejournal. It's been a while. For someone who currently has nothing to do, I seem to have an evergrowing to-do list. There really should be a post of epic proportions to chronicle the last few weeks, but to be honest, that sounds too much like hard work. Things you need to know:
- Despite the Registry doing everything they possibly could to personally screw me over (I'm bitter about their incompetence. So sue me.), assessments are all complete pending my nervous awaitment of results.
- I have a Mercedes. Oh yes. Really. Her name is Martha and I loves her so.
- What I don't have is a job.
- Today I made the emotional and monumental move of changing my Facebook network back to the West Midlands from London, and unsubscribing Transport for London's weekly emails. I'm really not a Londoner anymore. Sniff.
- The next time an advert tells me I must do incredibly painful things to the hair on my legs to become more feminine, I'm going to put a brick through the telly.
- Dr Who rules my world. Except I recognise the girl with the funny name in Silence in the Library from somewhere, and I don't know where, and it's bugging the hell out of me. Must have moar Who icons. Suggestions?
- I've been terrifically lapse on birthdays. Apologies if I missed yours, my inbox became this ever-growing monster and I've only just defeated it. Happy Birthday to rotae for today, and erickasblog and creamuts for tomorrow!
- Many people are using X-Files lines as titles as a run up to XF2. Instead, I'm using New York lines (and maybe America if I run out) as a run up to our trip of epic flail.
