A thought came in my mind today that has been true for as far back as I can remember: As soon as you give up, something happens.
Really. Think about it for a moment, it has been so true for me. Just when you are tired of struggling, exhausted from the efforts you put into something day by day, and think, "You know what? I've given this my all, and I'm just going to sit back now. I'm done trying. Let's see what happens."
Then boom. You think why couldn't you have done this sooner. Taken it for what it was instead of letting it come into your thoughts night and day. It wouldn't have hurt that much then. As if you have control over everything in your life. Since when did you have control? Waking up the first thing in the morning - did you have control over that? Having your heart beat. Did you tell it to do so? We always forget who does have control. Instead of exhaustion and mental exertion, if it was just effort with knowing that you don't run the shots, your limbs wouldn't be aching right now from the prolonged stress.
Isn't it all just strange?
As soon as we surrender, it all changes course.
