(no subject)
Well things are pretty good at the moment. I went for an interview a couple of weeks back. Staff nurse on a drugs and alcohol detox farm (brand new neighbour unit still being built). I really wanted the job as it seems great and all the people that I met were lovely. I was quite nervous as the positions of staff nurse available were more team leader based as there is only one nurse on shift with support workers...i've been incharge loads of times but most of those times i've had other nurses to consult with. Somehow I managed to impress them. It will be ideal as its only 20mins up the road and starts off with only having 4 beds. I should start my induction in March and meet new people which is great.
Home life is pretty good, Sean and I got through a very trying two weeks recently. His boss was on parental leave so Sean had to take on the head of department role as well as continuing his own management/mentor role. We got through it though in good humour and recently had a lovely weekend to celebrate :)
I've been doing okay at work but I have kinda lost my enthusiasm now I have a new job on the pipe line...however, I have seen a lot of Cornwall and quite a few people on my round live by the sea which is lovely...especially first thing in the morning just as its getting light.
I've also been keeping myself busy, seeing friends, going swimming, and just having a life outside of work which has been a long time coming. Also trying to sort out our summer holiday...thinking of going to Sziget festival and seeing a few countries around there...my mission for today is to do some research :)
So yes, all okay, hope it stays this way :)
