Merry Christmas, Children!

1. It's time for my year in review....
January--I can't write for long (bye bye, battery) but I must speak on a few things that have been going on. 1. The Office kicks mondo ass.
In conclusion: I was late to the office party...but I love it anyway.

February--So here is what has been bothering me lately. Sort of. I'm afraid I have some mental problem.
I will always be the tiniest OCD about the randomest things.

March--I like season 4 of Gilmore Girls.
I totally do. Up until the last few episodes, it's totally awesome. And really, it's only a few scenes in the last few episodes.

April--Yesterday was an awesome day. And then my dad called to say he was heading down to the coast because his mom got her test results back. They're putting her on  hospice care.
I almost wish I'd written about the day before, because I'm sure it was awesome. This day was not so good, and I remember it all too well. I still miss my grandma...oh, well. At least I got to see her last Christmas.

May--So between the packing (Oh, God, the packing) and the editing (*dies* Oh, GOD, the editing) and the stressing (always with the stressing) and the crying-but-not-really-but-totally-really-and-most-definitely over the end of Gilmore Girls, I managed to find an idea for a story I wrote in the middle of my New Millennium Studies class sometime last semester.
The story is "Father Of The Bride," which I still have yet to write. It shall be amazing when I do, though.

June--Why can't it be September 28 now???
This was a link to "Across The Universe", of course. Dude, that movie was all over my first month of work. Speaking of work....

July--I wasn't online in July, because of work and no constant computer access.

August--Warning: I have not been this ridiculous in years, if ever. I don't even think my Milo obsession was this bad. But, yeah, I've totally fallen under the spell of a raven-haired, blue-eyed, 19-year-old baritone--or so my facebook status says.
This was my Zac Efron obsession. Oh, summer. What you do to me.

September--Survey! also: Ack!! Someone get me off Amazon, quick?
These were both in the middle of the night. Before my first day of classes. Because I like to not sleep at all.

October--1. i got some new icons. 2. i've been listening to "this american life" all night.
I don't remember these icons. Were these the text ones? I think they were. PS: This American Life is the bestest thing ever.

November--I  just signed up for NaNoWriMo.
And that was the last time I talked about it, 'cause that was the last night I wrote anything. Oh, well.

December--I have to write a five-page research paper that's due tomorrow at 12:30--I have class from 9 'til 11:50--so obviously I'm procrastinating like crazy.
And I blew it out of the water. Suck on that, 77-year-old teacher!!

Hey, somehow I managed to not talk about the Monkees at all. That's kinda crazy, huh?

2. Saw Walk Hard last night. Hilarious. Just absolutely amazing. The best scene was the Beatles scene, I think, mainly 'cause of who they were--and the accents were ridiculous, and they were making fun of each other...it was just awesome. Paul McCartney: Jack Black. John Lennon: Paul Rudd. Ringo Starr: Jason Schwartzmann ("I've got a song 'bout an octopus"). George Harrison: Justin Long! Dude, where has he been? I love him.

3. Watched a lot of 30 Rock (aka the entire first season on Netflix, which doesn't have commercials 'cause it takes it directly from the DVDs, so I feel a little bad, it's true).

4. I think I'm going to write some Christmas fic. 'Cause I feel like it.

5. Alright, ladies (you're all ladies, huh?) I'm going to head out. Perhaps I'll come back later and pimp some newly written fic. Perhaps not. We'll see, 'kay? 'Night!

6. OH, wait! Just saw a new trailer for a new Jim Sturgess film, and must see it already, if only because JIM STURGESS MAKES ME MELT DOWN TO MY TOES.

Okay, that's really it.

cute boys: jim sturgess, real life: i need sleep, real life: christmas, tv: 30 rock, movies: walk hard
