Happy New Year!!!
I can't write for long (bye bye, battery) but I must speak on a few things that have been going on.
1. The Office kicks mondo ass.
2. Don annoys me. In a "I kinda can't stand to be around him" way.
3. Last night was fucking awesome!! I went over to Caroline's and she and Brad and I hung out for a while (and Caroline was pseudo-intellectual with an emphasis on the pseudo and I almost killed her) but then Garrett showed up and the four of us made dinner (Brad microwaved burritos and I grilled quesadillas) and then Brad and Garrett got a little into some pyromania and then Carolan, Mary, Chris and Colleen showed up.
We roasted some marshmallows in Caroline's gas fireplace and had a lot of sugar and then started playing Mao, a card game named for Mao Tse-Tung (Zedong?). It's a fascist card game. But very awesome. So we played that for a few hours, and then when the rules got too much, we played Bullshit (BS...Bible Study...Beef Stew) until about 11:30, and then we grabbed sparkling grape juice cider stuff and went outside and poured it into our tiny itty bitty champagne glasses and then counted down the last two minutes of 2006, and then we freaked out and screamed and stomped on the champagne glasses and splashed stuff all over my car, which we then had to rinse off. We went back inside around 12:30 and then sat around the dining room table and talked about Don for about three hours.
We're doing an intervention, but a trickly one, where we go in twos and threes over a period of a week or so.
Ack! I gotta go. 10% and counting down. Off to watch some more office.
