+ I really need new icons.
+ My internship at the production company is over tomorrow! At first I was kind of bummed about that, but the last couple of weeks have not really been great? There was that day when I did, like, 17 (actually 3) runs in one day and missed a Chris Evans screening because of it, only two days after having to come back to the office at 8 at night so I could pick up a DVD to drop it off at a producer's house, plus I don't like the new interns (a lot of name-dropping and talking about clothes and bars and annoying-ness) AND I've literally only met the TV producer because I rang the doorbell when I did a run to his house and he happened to be there. The assistant, Chelsea, is helping me look for jobs, so that's good.
+ I've been watching a lot (a lot) of pilots! I'm trying to get together a post about them, hopefully look out for that soon! (My favorites include most Fox sitcoms and the hour-long drama from Jon Favreau and Bad fucking Robot starring Billy Burke, obviously)
+ TOO MUCH FANFICTIONNNN, I haven't read a book in ages but I always have at least three tabs open with Avengers fic, I'm crazy
+ I'm also a fan of italics tonight.
+ I saw three movies today!
That's My Boy was just as bad as I was expecting it to be, but also at times funny and even worse? Milo Ventimiglia was in it, naked, but he was also too buff and he didn't look great! Wasn't a fan of his ass, is what I'm saying. ALSO HE WAS NAKED BECAUSE HE WAS HAVING SEX WITH HIS SISTER, BLAIR WALDORF, GROSSSSS. But I did laugh at times, and I enjoyed that Susan Sarandon played the older Eva Amurri, because they do actually bear a resemblance!
Moonrise Kingdom was...okay? I didn't actually like it that much. It was too Wes Anderson-y, maybe? I don't know. But I did fall a little bit in love with Ed Norton (a little bit more, did I mention to y'all how much I love his Bruce Banner in relation to Betty Ross? Don't get me wrong, Mark Ruffalo was fucking fantastic, but The Incredible Hulk is not actually a bad movie, and it's all because of Norton) and Jason Schwartzmann was in only about three scenes but they were my favorites!
Seeking A Friend for the End of the World: basically:
Dear world,
Please have Steve Carell play the sort of sad sack leading man love interest in all movies.
Thanks!
Sincerely,
the world
In other words, it was sad and quiet and sweet and funny at times and Steve Carell's face.
