Y'ALL. I DON'T KNOW IF YOU KNOW THIS, BUT I HAVE A JONAS CONCERT IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS. JT just tweeted "Chicago, here we come," MEANING THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY HERE.
I might be a little bit excited.
Seriously, nothing has been happening in my life (although I seem to have discovered that my "e" button likes to stick now, what a great new trait, KEYBOARD) except my schedule's been screwy and I've been working and Public Enemies disappointed me and last night I joked with one of the managers about how I should cold-call people to get them to come to the midnight show of HP6 so we can beat Cantera, where he used to work, and so this morning I woke up with a phone call from Andrea at work cold-calling me to see the show at midnight. It was awesome, but also confusing, as I was tired.
And I cleaned, finally, but not enough, and my apartment is gross and I can't believe how disgusting I am but at least I am, in fact, trying to make it better. I bought a vacuum cleaner. Up next is a trash can.
ACTUALLY, UP NEXT IS LAURA COMING OVER TOMORROW SO WE CAN BE RIDICULOUS AND AWESOME. I have neon pink fingernails and sort of neon earrings and will be wearing my Easy shirt and I think Laura said something about side ponytails because tweeny concerts = 80s hair, but anyway it will be delightful and enjoyable and I am MOST DEFINITELY LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. We went to Borders today (where I didn't buy anything, SOMEHOW) and they were playing the new Regina Spektor mixed in with JONAS BROTHERS, like "Keep It Real" and "Don't Speak" and I might have said, "Did someone know I was coming?" because it was just a really great surprise.
I meant to go to sleep early tonight.
BUT I'M JUST A LITTLE BIT EXCITED ABOUT TOMORROW. I don't know how to get to the concert and I was probably brushing up on the wrong songs (I know they're not playing "Goodnight and Goodbye," and yet I've listened to it approximately 5789023456 times in the last few days) and I might be holding out a little too much hope that MIley will show up tomorrow and I might be wondering if I should stop by the Full Moon Crazy tour at House of Blues on Saturday just in case the boys are there, but Y'ALL. SERIOUSLY. This is my first concert in, oh, five years, and I feel it's gonna be a little crazier than Jewel and Ryan Cabrera and their guitars in a casino theater. MAYBE IT'LL BE AS AWESOME AS CHER'S FIRST FAREWELL TOUR CONCERT (it was SO GREAT, she changed outfits every three songs and one time SHE RODE A HUGE FAKE ELEPHANT onto the stage).
OKAY, I'M OFF. The next time I post, it'll be after seeing the Bros in all their real life glory. AWESOME.
concerts,
omg it's jonas live!,
