I'm avoiding learning about Carl Jung's theory and relating it to the (in my opinion, not that great) Adam Sandler movie Punch Drunk Love by doing random memes that no one's probably gonna do. Or whatever. Here!
Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Strike through when someone gets them right.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is ch-ch-cheating.
(Just to let everyone know, number 25 is the most embarrassing I've ever listened to/know almost all the words to. And some of these are way easy with the title in the lyric. And yes, there is a Monkees song, but it's just one.)

Okay. I'm seriously off to write about Carl Jung.
Oh, did I mention that I saw Robert last night? And he was way cute and I was way cute and Elyse said he was totally flirting with me and I saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and was struck by just how much Robert and Michael Cera are like the same person and he absolutely could have gotten Michael Cera drunk and taken his place and it was so much fun and girly and cute and I had such a nice evening yesterday.
And (Just Like) Starting Over by John Lennon is the first time I've ever definitely heard Elvis in any of his songs. And he's having such a good time imitating him, and then Elvis voice and the song itself it makes me wanna dance and it makes me way happy. And I've decided that my band characters (all the characters in my head just wander around and pop out sometimes) play the song at the year-end talent show the last year that Wes and Faulkner (or maybe Lorenzo) are there. And they close out the talent show. This is what happens:
Everyone's in the dark except for Faulkner, who plays an acoustic guitar in a spotlight at a microphone. Then the rest of the band comes in, and he swings the guitar around to his back and the lights come up, and Charlie is playing the piano, Lorenzo's playing the bass, Wes is playing the electric guitar, and Vivi's playing the drums, while Faulkner sings and dances and has fun. Plus the band are the backup singers, with the "ooh"ing and Vivi sings along with Faulkner sometimes, while still beating the hell out of those drums.
Ooh! I saw Keith Moon play the drums today. He was, like, 17, and it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Can I be Keith Moon (minus the drugs and death part, I just wanna play the drums like that)?
