I Bought You a Boot and an Old Telephone Bill!

Ah. Black Friday. I love this day. Sure, I can't go outside, but it marks the beginning of something special. The Christmas Season starts today, and it's all thanks to my favorite Rocket-Powered President, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Thanks Frank.

But Sam, are you not Jewish? What dost the Christmas Season hold for thee?

Thou hast asked a legitimate question.

The Christmas Season is so sparkling and festive. I think it really just gives me some reliability. Christmas will always start on Black Friday, that's why they call it Black Friday. There will always be red, green, and white in excess. There will always be pictures of Santa, Christmas specials, sales, decorations, fake snow, "Merry Christmas"s, and all those other things associated with Christmas but not Christianity.

And the best part is: It lasts just as long as it needs to. By the time it's all over I'm just about tired of it.

Yeah, it's awesome.

So I didn't do anything with the first 3 days of my 5 day weekend, and I don't intend to do anything with the other 2. Unless somebody says "Sam, you're coming out with us tonight!"

I'd go do something, but I won't take any initiative.
