Winter Fun
Just got back from my trip up to Mackinaw City to meet Mike. It was a great weekend with no regrets. To finally be able to talk to him without having to "push to talk" or over the phone was amazing (and yes, his voice is as delicious in person as over vent :D ). Mackinaw City looks like it would be a great deal of fun to vacation in during the summer season when everything is open, but for us it was a "is that place open?" experience. If all continues as I think it will, we will have to plan a second visit there in the spring.
The only downside to this entire weekend has been the blizzard I came home to. Who would have thought I would have gone up north in December and had clear skies and no snow and back home would get 12 inches? Amusingly enough my Mom called me from Florida to tell me about the snow in Lapeer. I had much better things to do then to watch TV while with Mike.
Life is good. If a little snowy.
Work again tomorrow. It's going to be a bad week. Root canel on Thursday. Survive Friday at work and then I have two 4-day weekends in a row. Wooters!
