no update for nearly a month -
i feel like i am neglecting livejournal.
So, the last month in short:
Went to the ball, was so good, got very merry and found out that you cant ceilidh dance in 4 inch heels that only have one strap which is over by your toes.
Went home/back to pinner (can never decided what to call it, i seem to refer to both places as home, its weird), visited georgie was really nice.
Managed to catch a cold whilst back in pinner, not impressed. especially as it turned out not to be a cold - was ill for over 2 weeks, couldnt talk for most of this time, was coughing up blood etc etc. whoops
Last wednesday was 'dick day', which is when the edinburgh vets play the glasgow vets at loadsa sports then everyone goes on a massive pub crawl. its called dick day because the edinburgh vet college is the royal (dick) school of vet medicine (named after the guy who founded it - william dick). the name does, of course, mean the weegies have lots of lovely songs for us, which they were yelling from their side of the pitch. but not as loud as we were yelling ours!! these included:

The scummie weegies,
You're only happy when the sky is grey,
Your mum's a dealer,
Your dad's a stealer,
Please dont take our hub-caps away!
Anyway, we beat them at mens rugby (most important), ladies rugby and ladies footie. they beat us at mens footie and mixed hockey. so that means WE WON........was quite exciting, meant lots of alcohol was consumed, despite the fact that i could barely do anything thanks to being so ill!!
Animal husbandry on thursday was great - we were condition scoring a weighing cattle, which is fine. mark, james and me had weighed all our cattle, so mark decided he was going to use the weighband to see how much i would weigh if i was a cow. i like being a cow - i only weigh 45kg!!
Friday - Hannah and me managed to get a free 3 course meal and 2 bottles of wine - was great! I have never been so full in my life though. The chef was laughing at us so much because we were just slumped out over the chairs because we were so full!
Didnt really do much over the weekend, just tried to recover! Although thinking about it, if i'd done the same amount whilst we were at school i'd probably have said i was really busy, but now it all seems quite tame!!!!
Tomorrow i have a tutorial with evil research professor guy. not impressed. but i have just spent aaaaages tidying my room, and its now tidy for the first time in about a month. so im quite pleased with myself!
this weekend i'm gonna be in glasgow.
and im gonna be dressed as a flintstone.
