Hello!
We personally love this episode since it reveals more about Ruiko and Takatsuki's relationship. We can't count how many times one of us cried many times since she had to watch it again and again for timing and checking (haha).
Anyway, since this episode is about Hyakumonogatari (lit. a hundred stories), there's some references that we chose to put here and not on the video. You can either read it before or after.
- Kappa is known to love cucumber, so when Terauchi said he will tell a story of Kappa "stealing" a cucumber, it's not really surprising.
-
This is a reference we found about Koharu's story. And on that site there's also a story about a vengeful wife so it could be the story Ruiko was going to tell (or not).
- About the legend of
Tengu kidnapping children. This straights up from wikipedia so you could read from the original sources if you want to. It also explain a bit about Kamigakushi (spirited away) and its connection to Tengu. Basically, when someone is "spirited away", they tend to be taken by a mythical creature such as Tengu.
And so, you could get the episode here.
You can get it
here!
Enjoy!
