books! i need book recs!
Friends and family! Well, not family. My family hasn't yet figured out you don't have to double-click every. damn. thing. So I think I'm pretty safe in that department.
But I'm going on a holiday next month, and have turned my iPod into some kind of basterdised eReader, so I need book recs! Any series' that you love, that I need to read, etc etc.
Please don't assume I've read anything, because I guarantee I have not. For the past three years, I've not read anything that wasn't on a compulsory book list. I've only read one Gaiman book, and I only got around to The Hunger Games last month. I've read nothing. And if you know of any good sites/comms where I can download free eBooks, that'd be much appreciated!
Preferences: gay romance, gay mystery, gay vampires, vampires at all, stuff with spies. Short stories! Like my fic preferences, really. No, okay, they don't have to all be about rampant homosexuality. Even well-known novels, I really have to catch up on stuff that was written within the last twenty years.
