Patricia Ann Hues Renzo
HYDE PARK - Patricia Ann Hues Renzo, 71, a lifelong resident of Hyde Park, died peacefully surrounded by her family at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on Sunday, April 17, 2005. Patricia and her husband Raymond Renzo, owned and operated Ray Renzo's Restaurant in Pleasant Valley from 1972-1999. 'Mama Renzo' loved to cook for family gatherings for many years. Born in Poughkeepsie on March 18, 1934, she was the daughter of Frederick and Rosean Layman Hues. Patricia was a graduate of Franklin D. Roosevelt High School, Class of 1953. On May 12, 1957 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie, she married Raymond A. Renzo. Mr. Renzo predeceased her on July 18, 2002. She is survived by her son, Michael Raymond Renzo of Poughkeepsie; her 2 daughters, Angelina Butler of Pittsfield, Ma. and Regina Renzo of Hyde Park; her 4 grandchildren, Erica Williams of Poughkeepsie, Michelle Murray of Port Hueneme,Ca., Christopher Butler of Lake Katrine and Danielle Butler of Pittsfield,Ma.; brothers and sisters, John Hues of Arizona., William Hues of Nevada, Carol Hues of Staatsburg, Joe Hues of Staatsburg, Lorraine Miskovitz of Poughkeepsie and Robert Hues of Keeseville,NY; and several nieces and nephews. Pat also leaves behind her cat, Miss Kitty. She was predeceased by a brother, Richard Hues and a sister Gladys Flaherty. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 79 pm at Parmele Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 9:30 am from Our Lady of Mt. I read it to miss kitty and told her she made the paper. She was in no mood to play yesterday. I think she totally knows what's going on and everyone else thinks I'm crazy. Last week when I was crying, she came up to my face, purred and started rubbing her head against my face. She has such unused mommy potential. Right now my little bald monkey is sunning belly up on the lovesac.
