I Tamed The Perilous Skies!!
Student X: WE FREAKING ROCKED!! SATURDAY WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!! I FINALLY PLAYED IN TUNE! I could never manage that before and I ran out of air in the pre-elimination round. I totally emptied my lungs. I'm in Shadowblock so I didn't march, but you guys were awsome! I almost started crying, it was so moving and amazing. "Those couldn't have been the same slacker freshmen I have for class." I thought; and they're not. Now they know what it's like to do your best and go all the way. It's my first year in band too so I can guess what they felt like. Later, when we met all the other bands I started a mosh pit in the trombone section. The college band was crazy! There was this girl who jumped on a guy's shoulders and waved her trombone from the very bottom like a flag. One of them grabbed my plume and freaked me out. Oh, by the way:
