Icons, Rob Dougan Scans, and Ramblings

I have been so so busy.

I just cannot believe the enormous amount of work I've been doing over the past couple of weeks. The thing that's making up most of that work is due in tomorrow (evil computing assignment - die concurrency! die!) and I can't do any more work on it tonight, so that's why I've finally got time to make a little post here :)

Before I forget here's an award I got I from wes_stillness :D

And actually while I'm at it I may as well put up a few icons that are hanging about :

1.

3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.

10.
11.

17.
18.
19.

20.
21.
22.
23.

1 to 9 are all (obviously) minor variations on exactly the same icon. Why are there so many different version of exactly the same thing? Because I am insanely indecisive. So there.
10 to 14 are of the movie Wimbledon (so cute! Especially Paul Bettany, mmmm) while 12 to 14 continue the theme of indecisiveness. Lyrics from David Gray's This Year's Love which played during the movie.
15 to 19 are all from the Buffy episode Enemies with lyrics from the New Radical's Mother We Just Can't Get Enough.
21 is for a challenge at ats_challenge.
22 and 23 from Star Wars.

Huh, more than I thought.

I bought myself the coolest cd ever this week! (Give me another week and I'll probably have listened to it so much that I actually hate it - but I love it right now). I've been meaning to buy a Rob Dougan cd for about 5 years or so - even though the cd only came out about 3 years ago. Still, I'd wanted to buy one ever since hearing Clubbed to Death in The Matrix. That really is one of my favourite bits of the movie, when Neo and Morpheus are walking through a stream of people in a program to simulate the Matrix, and Morpheus is talking, and it's like he's talking in time with the music, and this is getting to be a very long sentence. But it's a great scene, and the music really makes it. So after hearing another of his songs last week (I'm Not Driving Anymore) I just had to go buy Furious Angels. And it's all so fantastic :D A little depressing at times... it all really reminds me of Wesley from Angel (not a bad thing at all), the same sort of creepy obssessiveness Wesley has from time to time. Anyhoo, I scanned some pages from the little booklet thingy in the cd case, so you may download them if you wish, and use them for anything you'd like really:

I feel like watching Charmed. For some reason I've been watching a fair bit of Charmed recently. Seeing as I didn't watch almost all of seasons 4, 5 or 6 I've got a fair bit to catch up on. My sister's a huge fan so I always used to watch it with her (ie season 1, 2, and 3) but then after Prue died we stopped watching it quite so religiously, and I really didn't watch it much at all after seeing a bit of season 4. But Cole's just so gorgeous and hilarious, I really don't understand how anyone could try to kill that man. Every time he does something horribly evil and then just giggles, I just can't help but giggle along with him. I definitely think it lost some of it's charm (no pun intended, really) after the first few seasons though. Possibly after Prue died, but I'm not sure it's actually directly to do with that as I really don't mind Paige, and I wasn't a huge Prue fan (I didn't dislike her or anything, I just didn't really mind). But it's still fun to rewatch the old stuff.

Anyway, I think I'll finish off with an exasperated cry of "Men!", they really can be quite pathetic at times. I know not all of them are. I mean the fictional ones often seem very nice indeed. But of all the ones I've met (and who aren't actually related to me) I have a hard time thinking of one who isn't a jerk most of time. *sigh* Oh well, I'm happy with all my fictional men :)
