Bukhansan 등산하는
I spent the past few days talking about Chuseok without giving any hint as to how I spent the time myself. Everyone at our academy was given four days off from work - which matches the holiday leave of public school teachers in Uijeongbu and may even exceed that given public school teachers in Gwangju - and I spent the first of those watching the southern derby between Jeonbuk Hyundai and Chunnam Dragons on television. Would have liked to see it in person but the traffic was too congested for that to be a real possibility. Chuseok morning was spent hiking Bukhansan with my friend Layna, with some pictures of our trip posted on Flickr. The weather turned out to be ideal for an outdoor excursion -- the summer's heat and humidity is finally gone while an autumn cool is just beginning to appear.
