In older news, I moved to a different apartment two weeks ago. Same building, but from the first floor up to the sixth. Thank you! I'm still excited about living in my new home.
You can hide in my suitcase if you want ... although you'd have to come to Korea first. ;)

I'd rather not think about what was happening in my apartment before I moved in! It's possible someone just likes the taste or smell of ginseng, right? (This being Korea, you're probably right in being curious though! haha)

Thanks!

There are a large number of foods here billed as beneficial for increasing one's "stamina". Red ginseng, boshintang (dog stew), grilled eel, certain beetles ... and quite a few more.

Do you know why it smelled of red ginseng?

I like your new view - and what a bonus that your place is bigger, and that you have more privacy!

My assumption was that a previous occupant ate a lot of ginseng for health reasons - although your guess is as good as mine whether it was to cover the "stamina" angle or for increased energy.

The new view is really nice. Now I spend time sitting at my table listening to music and looking out the window. Unproductive, but oh well. I wonder what it'll look like when we get snow again.

p.s. Did you see the gardens on the roofs of the two apartments opposite mine? That always makes me smile.
