Just thought I'd post a message from the Incheon International Airport in Korea. I have thirty minutes to kill before my flight to the United States and wanted to take advantage of the free internet cafe located in the departures area. I really like
the appearance of the airport and waiting lounge. I'm going through EVA Airlines and will have a stopover in Taipei for both the outoing and return flights -- the nine hours I spend there on my way back to Korea should give me some time to explore parts of the city.
The only problem is, while going through immigration/customs the officer on duty stamped my work visa as expired. He later voided his initial stamp, but I hope that doesn't give me any problems when I try to get back into the country next week. I don't relish the headache that would accompany trying to explain my way around that one.
If you don't hear anything from me in the next week - not that you've heard much from me over the past month - it's either because I'm out having a lot of fun with friends and family, or because the internet connection at my parents house is absolutely atrocious. Hopefully it will be on account of the former!
