monday and tuesday
monday and tuesday were 80% fun.
monday i had class, then met up with pj at the hard rock, had a couple beers, and tried to find something to do. all of his guys were at the 8th st. tavern so we headed over there. kari met up with us. and i met some cool girls who were already there. we dominated the jukebox. vodka presses are my new favorite drink. it's vodka (or flavored vodka, i prefer blueberry stoli) mixed with both club soda AND sprite/7up, so it's not too strong, and not too sweet. i highly recommend it to everyone.
the next day, steph and i had plans to go to the state fair, and the jack's mannequin/paramore concert at the grandstand. i woke up fine, showered, then all of a sudden got dizzy and shaky and hot. i still have no idea what happened. the doctor said "it's a side effect of the medicine." well it took me out of commission for 4 hours, that's a really shitty side effect! fuck. so after composing myself, steph came over, and we went to the fair. we did a free park and ride thing, it was awesome. definitely going to do that again next year. we got the fair around 5:30, ate some cheese curds, walked around, met up with graham, ate a pickle on a stick, walked around, saw a baby cow get born, and headed to the show. we went to catering first because graham is from florida and therefore hates fair food. we listened to phantom planet, they didn't sound that terrible, unlike at the honda civic tour. we played foosball. we sat in lawn chairs. we heard some dude's life story. we watched jack's mannequin. it was amazing. then we sat some more. then we watched PARAMORE! omg. so good. after they ended, we watched the fireworks. fireworks are one of my favorite things. it was like 11:00 now, and graham had bus call at 11:30 so we said thank you and goodbye. we ran to merch to say bye to pj. he gave me a free JM hoodie. god bless pj. steph and i then ran to get mini donuts, a hot dog, a corn dog, a deep fried candy bar, and we tried to find cotton candy, but had no luck. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? NO COTTON CANDY? outraged. all in all, it was a short state fair, but it was a good one.
i need to go to the mall and get a macbook. and sweatpants and a book bag. and a new pair of chucks and vans.
i need to clean my room. i need to do my laundry. i need to reorganize my closet.
