I finished my last day at Ardent Productions today. I also submitted my movie the Sundance Film Festival. I really really really don't expect to make it in, but with an early submission fee of $25, I didn't want to pass up an opportunity. I won't actually hear if I made it until early December. Wow, I can't even imagine how my life would change if I made it in. I can see the credits in my head:

BranD. Productions presents
An Official 2006 Sundance Selection
In association with Ardent Productions
"The Under-Appreciated Art of Subtle Dancing"
A film by William B. Daniels

Yeah, that's nice.

Um, I'm not sure what else to talk about. The president of Ardent told me today that when I graduate, he'd like to hire me full time. That would be awesome if, by that time, I didn't have a family and I wanted to spend the rest of my life in Tiffin, Ohio! But still, it's pretty cool to know I already have a job offer.

Well, as tradition would have it, I have to bring up Kate. I'm really excited to go back to school probably for the soul reason of hanging out with her again. I'm still trying to come to terms with the idea that things will be diffrent next year. Not bad, just different and if we are meant to be, we will be. Simple as that. By the by, I had a really really good time with her family last weekend. And now, I think her grandfather and I have become internet penpals! Neato! I think the thing I like most about spending time with her whole family was getting a glimpse of what I'm missing out on with my small little family. Of course, it does put things in perspective. I do appreciate my family the way it is and it certainly does work best for us (which is convenient, right?). I just love the idea of cousins! I do actually have some who live in Seatle, but I've only met them once and I'm not even sure if it counts in my mind as the "idea of cousins" that I love. I just realized that I typed this whole last paragraph without looking at the screen and instead, watching King of the Hill. How'd I do? Not too bad! Neat! If you guys need a reminder, I'm living in South B 121 next year. See you around next week!
