(no subject)
Well, just applied to graduate... again. I wonder what my scarfie thingie looks like for this one.
My email is being annoying - but then again, it always is. And its running out of space, yet again. I remember the days of having a green status bar (I think that was under 50% full) when I thought I could never full by 1GB - yeah right!
Oh, fine - now my graduation application is throwing an error. I bet only a CompSci student would get an error when applying to graduate. Or maybe its just me! Tryin again now...
Well, just finished off my first forensics assignment. I have statements in it like "The finding of 3 matching fragments of glass on the clothing of the suspect strongly supports the suggestion that he was close to the breaking window."
Nope, graduation didn't work again! Argh - annoying creature! I only have until tomorrow to graduate. No, I wasn't planning on leaving it until the last minute, but they have only just got back to me and told me that they cannot reassign one of my compsci papers to forensics because of its age so, now that its back in CompSci again, I have done enough to graduate. I'm kinda glad because none of the other compsci papers looked good - actually, they all looked terrible - except one, but that was just boring rather than terrible!
Chocolate is such happy food!! Hmmm...
On not so happy news, my grandpa had a stroke on Friday. He's alright - he's got his speech and movement back in his left hand side - really short-term effects luckily. But, the tests are taking forever - because darling SA hospitals don't have doctors over the weekend (yes, no one has accidents on the weekend!!!) and therefore took over 12hrs to admit grandpa and now they are still waiting on the test results. If I had loads of money I'd be sending a doctor over there!! So, he's being very argumentative and grumpy - which could either be negative side-effect (ie: brain problems) or just the result of being in a hospital. But, he's usually very controlled, so its quite unusual. I'm thinking that if it isn't a brain problem then it could be the sudden realisation that he is not superhuman and is mortal that could have scared him and he's just trying to deal the best he can - and if that results in him being snappy, well, he's bloody well allowed to be snappy! I just wish I could be there! But, I'm waiting to hear some results before I decide if I'm heading over or not.
Anyways, on that not so happy note, I'm gonna shoot nDeva (still throwing me an error) and put the finishing touches on my assignment, then go to class - yes, class at 5pm! Been at work all day, but hey!
