Being Maudlin
I know this is too early for my yearly update, considering I just posted an entry a few months ago, but eh, what the heck.
Thanks to president's day, I have off today and since I already accomplished all the chores that required social interaction and leaving the house during the weekend, I decided to sit down at the computer and go through all the crap I have accumulated on the hard drives, my usb drives and any other drive/disk etc I could find.
And then I came across old pictures of myself...
What the fuck happened to me? I look at pictures of myself 1, 2, 5 and almost 10 years ago and I barely recognize myself. What happened to the girl with the short hair? The one who fit into that tight pair of leather jeans that now won't even go past my knees? What happened to the girl who went on vacation at least once a year and kept herself busy otherwise?
And then my mother called...
