How is it that the greatest book ever that we all have, is the most foreign book to us?
We all have a Bible, most of us have multiple ones at our house. The Bible is suppose to be the Manual to life, the best book ever, the book of life, and so on. We know all these things but yet we dont know anything. Yeah we may know Jonah and the big fish and David and Goliath, but do we really know the Bible. Do really know what we are talking about? The fact is, the majority of all that we know, is what we have be taught or told, not what we have learned for ourselves. Where in the Bible does it say, "All sin is equal in God's eyes." This is a widely accepted doctrinal belief in the church, but 99% of christians have no clue where its from. That really tells non believers something about what we believe if we ourselves dont really know what the heck we believe. If we claim the Bible is real and the the legit words from God, wouldn't it make sense to know it. I mean really, if we really believed that with all our heart than we should have memorized the whole Bible by now. I am just using all this to make a point, "We do not know what we are talking about, and we need to know the Bible more!" I promise you, if you open up the Bible and really, I mean really try to read it, you will get something amazing from it.
God is good!!!
